1) We are an European on-line guide for restaurants, vineyards, wines and food producers. We are a Worldwide on-line guide for vineyards, wines and food producers. Different types of registrations are available, from a free listing to a golden listing, (all depending on how much exposure you want to have and the impact on international target markets). A professional web-site with specific tools for all professionals involved in restaurants, wine production and food industry.
2) We are an on-line portal that publish gastronomy events and food recipes. (A free service to all, professionals and non-professionals). Absolutely great for promoting local, regional, national and international cuisine worldwide. Get your regional cuisine better known world-wide in adding recipes onto our web-site. Get your region known, in creating small food events and promoting them on our web-site. Let the world know, that you are a vibrant community when it comes to food. (Correctly done, this has a huge potential in creating business via Gastro-, Agro and Eco-tourism). Via non-limited advertising space and non-limited number of pictures, (golden and silver package), let the world know via your local businesses related to restaurants, vineyards and food production, what happens in your community related to tourism in general. These local businesses might work together with local people involved in tourism or with people who have the right ideas in order to make a coherent and attractive page. They might share the expenses of for example a golden package. (this might reduce expenses to a strict minimum)
3) In 60 different countries world-wide, we are creating jobs in implementing teams representing our guide with the purpose of creating strong relationship between customers and our guide. The job of these consultants consists in selling the different packages of our guide to customers, (advertising spaces), in spreading the message of our guide, in inviting people who like good food and cooking, to add cooking recipes (free service) in order to get the local/regional cuisine better known, trying to encourage local people in organizing food-events (add these events for free on our web-site). Everybody, who wants to become a member of this international team is welcome. A background in sales and (gastronomy/food-production or oenology) would be an advantage, but is not a must.
4) The aim of Restaurants-Guide4U is to encourage slow-food movements, to encourage fair trade worldwide, to show people worldwide how food is done, where it's coming from and the problematic involvement. To show people, that food isn't a completely normal thing, unlimited in quantity, but that there is a huge amount of work involved, a lot of strategies as criteria involved due to national and international health and safety regulations, crazy money as infrastructures involved in order to get food for everybody every day. That more and more, food has to be considered with respect as the people who produce it, very often in very hard labor. To bring people in contact via this very strong media which is the love of food, under each aspect, coming from each region, each country, each culture, each ethnic. To create new chains between food producer, import, export, whole-sale, retail and consumer. To facilitate quick access to the information, (as in our silver or golden package, the owner himself designs his page on our website and changes as he wish, having himself access to the system).
RG4U is a very young institution, in a permanently changing world, where everything already exists. It was hard to define and to re-define the mission. Well, all this has been done and now we are going to put this in place with our teams already working in various countries.
