Geschichte
Die Sorte Regent gehört zu den wenigen erfolgreichen Züchtungen, denen eine rosige, ja glänzende Zukunft vorhergesagt wird. Dem Institut für Rebenzüchtung auf dem Geilweilerhof bei Siebeldingen in der Südpfalz gelang im Jahr 1969 die Kreuzung aus (Silvaner x Müller-Thurgau) x Chambourcin. Erste Pflanzungen in den Weinbauversuchsbetrieben erfolgten ab 1985. |
