Ingredients:

½ tasang bigas na malagkit
2 kusaritang Lihiya
Dahon ng saging


SAWSAWAN
3 Tasang gata
½ tasang galapong
1 ½ Tasang asukal na pula o panutsa


PARAAN NG PAGLULUTO:
Hugasan ng tatlong beses ang malagkit na bigas. Ibabad ng 20 minuto sa tubig at saka patuluin.
Ihalo ang lihiya. Ibalot sa nilantang dahon ng saging at itali ng pares. Sa malaking kaserola maglagay ng dahon ng saging.Iayos ang mga suman at saka punuin ng tubig. Pakuluan ng isang oras.

SAWSAWAN:
Ibuhos ang gata sa kaserola. Pakuluan ng sampung minute ng hindi hinahalo. Tunawin ang galapong sa natitirang gata. Isama sa kumukulong gata.Timplahan ng asukal o panutsa at Lutuin hangang lumapot.


Suman Latik

Suman is a rice cake originating in the Philippines. It is made from glutinous rice cooked in coconut milk, wrapped in banana leaves or palm leaves then boiled. It is served & eaten with grated coconut, sugar, latik (browned coconut milk) or a dipping sauce prepared from coconut milk, flour & sugar. Click link for the recipe.
