Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan. Stir until sugar is entirely dissolved. Add the corn syrup, salt and peanuts.
Boil until peanuts are cooked. Turn off the stove, stir in the butter, baking soda, and peanut butter. Mix well then pour onto a flat pan. Spread thinly with a spatula or spoon as fast as possible and cut into serving pieces before it will cool down.
