Sinigang na Bangus sa Bayabas(Milkfish Sinigang in Guava)

1/2 kilo bangus (milkfish), cleaned & sliced diagonally into serving pieces
2/3 cup ripe guava meat (seeds removed)
1 medium onion, sliced
1 thumb-sized ginger, sliced
1 bundle kangkong(water spinach)
1/2 puso ng saging(banana blossom), sliced
1 pc long green pepper
4 glasses of water

Put water in a casserole. Add guava meat, onion and ginger. Boil. When guava meat is cooked, mashed using the ladle. Add bangus, banana blossom, green pepper & salt. Simmer until half cooked. Add kangkong. Simmer for a minute. Serve hot with steamed rice.
