Dinengdeng nga Rabong (Bamboo Shoot Dinengdeng)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup rabong (bamboo shoot) strips, blanched
1 cup jute leaves (saluyot)
1 pc fried or broiled fish
3 tbsp fish sauce
1 pc medium-sized onion
1 pc medium-sized tomatoes
2 cups water


Procedure:

Put water, onion, tomatoes & fish sauce in a casserole, Bring to a boil, Add bamboo shoot & fish. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add jute leaves & simmer for a minute. Adjust taste if desired. Serve hot with steamed rice.
