Wrap the rice with banana leaves just enough to fit in the bamboo tube. Put the shrimps or fish inside the bamboo tube, on top of the rice. Add salt and water. Cover the bamboo tube with banana leaves then tie. Cook over low fire for 20 minutes.
You would be surprise how palatable food tastes without any condiments.
It brings out the natural taste of rice and shrimp or fish. Try it.
