El origen del Corral del Agua se encuentra en el siglo XVIII, cuando el barrio sevillano de la Judería alcanzaba su máximo explendor.
Hoy, convertido en un exquisito restaurante, toma su nombre del Calle del Agua, uno de los rincones más emblemáticos del barrio judío de Sevilla, en pleno barrio de Santa Cruz.

Zur Herstellung von Hefebrand wird die frische Weinhefe verwendet. Weinhefe entsteht beim Gärprozess des Weines. Am Ende des Gärvorgangs werden Wein und Weinhefe getrennt. Durch die Destillation wird der Weinhefe der durch die Gärung entstandene Alkohol entzogen. Weinhefebrand ist als sog. „Magenaufräumer“ sehr beliebt und gut verträglich.
