Good Food Ireland won’t be holding back at this year's Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival in The Curragh, Friday 24th – 26th June. Announcing the partnership for the 2nd year in a row the Good Food Ireland Village pop up will allow race-goers dine around Ireland in one venue experiencing the triumph of local food dishes from Ireland’s top restaurants, hotels, cookery schools and food producers. Cookery demonstrations in the Neff kitchen Theatre will surprise with TV personalities and local food heroes.
“It is all about combining the best of Irish racing with the best of Irish food and what a wonderful opportunity for racing people to eat out at Ballymaloe House or Country Choice or The Merrion Hotel while enjoying a day at the races” says Margaret Jeffares, Founder of Good Food Ireland.
Situated in the heart of the action beside the Parade Ring, The Good Food Ireland Village will be open well before the first race so come early and enjoy lunch and graze throughout the day. Food will be served from 5pm to 10pm on Friday, from 12 noon to 7pm on Saturday and from 11.30am to 8pm on Sunday. “The Good Food Ireland Village has been a wonderful addition to the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby Festival and we are delighted to have the opportunity to showcase a variety of quality Irish foods at the biggest weekend of the year in the Irish horse racing calendar” says Evan Arkwright, Commercial Manager, The Curragh.
So you don’t miss a single stride, a large Racing Screen and the Tote will be located in the Good Food Ireland Village. This is truly going to be a great weekend out.
