Già dal 1500 si hanno notizie della tenuta di Praducello, piccolo centro agricolo con un villino, riserva di caccia della famiglia Boiani. Passò poi alla famiglia de Rubeis, che costruì nel 1720 l’attuale villa veneta e ampliò l’attività agricola.
Domenico Rubini, commerciante di seta, acquistò la tenuta di Spessa nel 1814.

High altitude is a way to compensate low latitude. Salta, if looked at more closely, is actually a tropical province crossed by the Tropic of Capricorn. It is well-known that wines are typically not produced in the tropics, due to the constantly high temperatures found in such regions. However, as we go up in elevation, temperature decreases by 1º C every 180 meters. And as valleys are generally located at 2,000 meters height, it is easy to see that the low latitude is compensated by a higher altitude. But that's not all.

1888 , 30. August: (1857-1942) aus Carve in Preußen erwirbt Feld und Weinberg in Kötzschenbroda-Nieder-lößnitz für 14.0 00 Mark (Moritzburger Str.42).
Hier errichtete er durch Umbau eines alten vorhandenen Winzerhauses bzw. durch einen Neubau ein Wohnhaus mit Anbau und beheizbaren Ge-wächshäusern, - er gründete eine Gärtnerei.
