Ingredients:
1.2 kg lamb meat cut into cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion minced
2 garlic cloves
500 g fresh figs cut in 2
2 tablespoons honey
100 g blanched almonds
1 teaspoon turmeric
1 pressed orange
Salt, ground pepper
1 tablespoon parsley chopped
In the tagine dish, heat the oil and fry the onion and garlic 3 min. Add the meat and seal until the pieces are browned on all sides (7 min)
Add the figs, honey, almonds, turmeric, pour the orange juice. Season well and stir. Cover with the lid and cook gently for 1h20min.
Serve with semolina
