Ingredients:
Crust : 200 g all purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 100 g unsalted butter, room temperature 50 cl water Almond Filling : 20 cl liquid cream 100 g caster sugar 2 eggs 150 g almond powder 1 tin pears, drained
For crust :
In a bowl mix flour, salt and butter to sand consistency. Add water and knead. Gather dough into ball. Wrap in plastic and chill at least 15 min. (Can be made 1 day ahead. Keep refrigerated.) Pre-heat oven to 180° C For almond filling : In a bowl whisk cream with sugar, eggs and almond powder, Line a buttered pie plate with crust, arrange pears on the crust and spread almond filling evenly. Bake tart about 30 min until golden and knife inserted into center of filling comes out clean. Cool tart on rack.
