Bulalo (Beef Stew)

Ingredients:
2 kg beef bone marrow, chopped into serving sizes.
1 kg beef shank
1 onion, peeled and sliced
3L. water
2-3 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
2 pcs. young yellow corn, sliced
1 whole medium cabbage, quartered(pechay can also be used)
3-4 tablespoons fish sauce (patis)
Salt and pepper to taste
Procedure
Blanch bone marrow and boneless beef shank or stewing beef in hot boiling water for a while and rinse in cold running tap water to remove scum and blood. Boil beef bone marrow & beef shank in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes. Add the corn, onion & fish sauce. Simmer foe 5 minutes. Add cabbage & simmer again for a minute. Season with black pepper & salt. Serve hot with steamed rice.
