Ginataang Adobo with Pinya

Ingredients:
1 kilo chicken, cut into serving pieces 1 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup vinegar 1 head garlic crushed 1 bay leaf 2 tablespoons sugar 1 (19-ounce) can coconut creme 1 small can pineapple chunks, drained pineapple chunks syrup 1 cup water 1 tsp salt peppercorns(pamintang buo) 2 tbsp cooking oil green pepper (optional)
Procedure:
Saute garlic and chicken in oil until slightly brown. Add all the remaining ingredients except sugar, drained pineapple chunks and half of coconut creme. Boil until meat is tender. Add sugar, pineapple chunks and the rest of coconut creme. Simmer for a few minutes. Serve with hot steamed rice.
