Ingredients:
1 kilo catfish, mud fish or eel (You can also use salt water fish like tuna), cleaned & cut into serving pieces 1 tbsp cooking oil 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 large red onion, chopped 1 tbs ginger, peeled, cut into strips 3 medium-size tomatoes 1 cup dahong sili (chili leaves), or malunggay leaves 3 cups water salt and pepper 2 tbsp patis (fish sauce)
Saute garlic, onion and ginger in oil. Add fish then patis. Simmer for 1 minute. Add water and let it boil. Add sili leaves or malunggay leaves. Simmer once. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
