Sinigang sa Miso (Fish Stew in Tamarind Soup & Soybean Paste)

Ingredients:

1 kilo big- sized Lapu-lapu (grouper) or Maya-maya (Red Snapper), Salmon, Tuna, Bangus (Milkfish), sliced into serving pieces
1 pack Tamarind Mix (Sinigang Mix)or tamarind juice (extracted from boiled tamarind fruit)
2/3 cups miso ( soybean paste)
3 large tomatoes, sliced
1 large red onion, sliced
2 pcs radish, sliced
2 cups spinach tops or water spinach
Salt to taste
5 cups water


Procedure:

Put water in a pot, add tomatoes and onions. Bring to a boil. Add the fish, radish, miso and tamarind mix or juice. Simmer for 5 minutes or until fish is done. Add spinach tops. Bring to a boil. Season with salt. Serve hot with steamed rice.
