Ingredients:
2 kilos balatinaw (dark sticky rice)
coconut milk from 3 pcs coconut
1 kilo muscovado sugar
4 cups water
wilted banana leaves, cleaned
Procedure:
Steam the sticky rice in a pot until half-cooked. Set aside.
Boil coconut milk and muscovado sugar in a pan. Stir constantly until it thickens. Add the steamed sticky rice. Stir again continuously until it thickens and done. Put it a platter lined with banana leaves then flatten. Let it cool. Cut into serving pieces.
