PANCIT CANTON WITH OYSTER SAUCE

Ingredients:
2 tbsps cooking oil
1 tbsp ginger, crushed
1 ½ tbsps garlic, crushed
1 pc red bell pepper, cut into strips
¼ cup Mama Sita’s Oyster Sauce
¾ cup water
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 pack pancit canton
1 cup chicharo (snow peas), stringed and blanched
½ cup carrots, cut into strips and blanched
½ tsp sesame oil (optional)
2 pcs calamansi, halved
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
Heat oil in a large wok or kawali.
Sauté ginger until golden. In the same pan, add garlic and stir-fry.
Add the bell pepper and stir-fry for one minute.
Add the Mama Sita’s Oyster Sauce dissolved in water and soy sauce and cook for another 30 seconds.
Pancit canton may be blanched briefly in boiling water, drain and cool.
Add the pancit canton to the mixture and stir-fry.
Add the remaining vegetables and stir-fry for one minute. Remove from heat.
Serve with calamansi.
