Meatball Submarine Sandwich

Ingredients:
350 grams ground pork or beef 3 cloves (15 g) garlic, minced 1 pc (30 g) small onion, chopped 1 pc (40 g) small egg 1/3 cup (36.6 g) breadcrumbs 1 tbsp (3 g) chopped parsley 1 pouch (250 g) DEL MONTE Filipino Style Tomato Sauce with MMK 7 pcs (350 g) hotdog buns, split into 2 but not all the way 1/2 cup (50 g) grated cheese Procedure: 1. COMBINE first 6 ingredients, 1 tsp iodized fine salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper. Mix well. Form every 1-1/2 tbsp of mixture into balls. Deep-fry until golden brown. Slice each meatball in half. 2. SIMMER DEL MONTE Tomato Sauce for 5 minutes. Add meatballs, salt and pepper to taste. Allow to simmer. Set aside. 3. IN each hotdog bun half, sandwich 4 meatballs and pour 2 tbsp sauce over meatballs. Top with cheese if desired and toast until cheese melts.
