Ingredients:
250 g semisweet chocolate chopped 120 g butter 6 eggs separated 150 g castor sugar 4 tablespoons cornflour 100 g ground almonds
Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a Pyrex bowl melt the chocolate and the butter in the micro wave oven for 2 min. Mix well to obtain a smooth cream. In a separate bowl whisk the egg whites until stiff. In another bowl, whisk the yolks with the sugar until pale and thick. Add the cornflour, the ground almonds, the chocolate cream and mix gently together. Fold in the egg whites and softly incorporate. Pour the mixture into the buttered cake pan and bake in hot oven for 30 min. Remove from the pan while still warm. This delicious cake maybe served with red fruits sauce or custard.
