dem Parkhotel Frankfurt,
die das denkmalgeschützte Haus
seit 1981 führen, zu Ihrem Motto.
Schließlich steht es tatsächlich auf historischem Boden.
Drei Landesgrenzen verliefen einst in seiner Nähe und anno 1790,
also 15 Jahre nach seiner Errichtung, empfing Hessens damaliger
Landgraf Wilhelm der IX. im "Alten Zollhaus" den neuen
deutschen Kaiser Leopold II.
Das "Alte Zollhaus" ist jedoch beileibe kein Museum, sondern im Gegenteil
ein höchst "lebendiges" Gasthaus.
Es wurde im Frühjahr 1997 völlig neu renoviert, ohne allerdings den
Charme und Charakter zu verändern.
