The interior’s graceful interweaving of French and Chinese traditions, with colorful replicas of colonial accoutrements, make restaurant China Club both ceremonial (not for nothing did it take over the space of a former wedding palace) and cozy. The history of the China Club interior began with a piece of cloth adorned with a Chinese drawing that artist Albina Nazimova saw one day. And everything came together—a full palette of color and the ethnic design burst onto the refinement of a salon of exclusive Truggelmann furniture.
In addition to the main dining area, there are also private rooms with individual designs, as well as an expansive entry hall. A separate entrance leads to a “secret” area.
The concept of combining West and East also extends to the restaurant’s menu, which is a harmonious confluence of European and Asian gastronomical traditions.
