Aresti Wine of Chile is a family-owned winery that was founded in 1951, when Vicente Aresti and his father-in-law Alfredo López decided to establish a winery in the Curicó Valley.
Convinced that they could make fine wines, the family acquired new land, invested in technology, and in 1999 began to sell their products under the Aresti label.
Today, three generations of the Aresti family have dedicated their efforts and knowledge to producing widely recognized wines of the highest quality.
Part of the Aresti winery history is depicted on the labels of the icon Family Collection line, with Alberto Valenzuela Llanos’ 1908 painting entitled “Harvest at the Bellavista Hacienda,” which won a gold medal in an exhibition in the Belle Arts Museum in Santiago during Chile’s centennial celebration.
Don Vicente acquired the painting and turned it into the symbol of the winery. In fact, it won another gold medal in an international wine label competition (Premier Print Award), when it competed against 4,500 other labels from every corner of the world.
Viña Aresti is located in Molina, in the Curicó Valley, 203 km south of Santiago, in Chile’s central zone.
The winery gradually grew from the original Bellavista Hacienda, where Don Vicente Aresti founded Aresti Wine of Chile. Additional land acquired near the Claro River gave rise to the Micaela, Peñaflor, and Favorita vineyards, for a total of 400 hectares planted to vine with a potential of another 900 hectares to be planted.

Excellent wine is based on high quality grapes. Aware of this, the viticultural and winemaking departments work each sector independently and carefully select specific areas to harvest in order to obtain greater maturity and concentration in the fruit.
EXTRA VIRGEN OLIVE OIL
Continuing with Aresti Wine of Chile’s 50-plus years of innovative tradition, the Aresti family began a new adventure in aromas and flavors in 2005 when it began its Aresti Selección de Familia Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
This oil from Chile’s golden Central Valley is obtained from the first cold pressing of selected hand-picked olives whose fine varieties contribute the unique flavor of this premium oil.
This 100% Chilean product earned one of the world’s most important distinctions in the olive oil industry, a Gold Medal in the L.A. Country Fair Olive Oil Competition in 2006.
The Aresti Selección de Familia Extra virgin olive oil is made for demanding consumers with a more experienced palate that knows how to appreciate the qualities of an extra virgin oil, with accentuated pungency, bitterness, and fruitiness.
Aresti Extra Virgen Olive oil is an intense, bright golden yellow color with crystalline green highlights. Its aroma of fresh fruit and its harmonizing accents of freshly sliced green apple show its tremendous personality. Intense character and presence heightens the flavor of every dish.
