Aguardente Velhíssima - 1966
Strong yet elegant, luminous and showing deep topaz colour, this old brandy was made from the exceptional 1965 vintage.
To taste it is to acknowledge the richness of its “aroma”, intense yet complex, that shows touches of vanilla and coconut, produced by a long rest in oak tree barrels, along with smoked and sweet undertones.
Its velvety and refined flavour, confirms the qualities sensed in the “aroma”, lasting for long after tasting. A nice end-of-the evening conversation with old time friends makes for the perfect occasion to experience this unique old brandy.
