Inspired by Napa Valley in California, the Monte da Ravasqueira winery has been equipped with the most modern technology. Furthermore, the geological studies performed to select the most appropriate varietals and the best places to set out the vineyard were supported by French and Australian consultants and consultants from the universities of Évora and Trás-os-Montes.
Monte da Ravasqueira has excellent conditions for the production of the best wine that the Alentejo has to offer, and the company has focused on investing heavily in planting vines in recent years.
Geological studies began in 1998 to select the most appropriate varietals and the best places to set out the vineyards, and Monte da Ravasqueira was able to rely on the technical support of national and international consultants of vast experience and renown in the sector.

Tasting notes
Garnet colour, very intense, rich and complex aroma, with a touch of black cherry, blackberry and blueberry. Well-balanced, structured taste, with smooth tannins and a long and elegant finish.
